Despite the cloudy sky, it was a moment of pure joy to watch the colourful kites and the delight they brought to children and adults alike — the latter, after all, merely older children — during the kite festival in Valencia. Nonetheless, in my reading, I seek to capture the many layers of texture that shape this event.
A pesar del cielo nublado, fue un momento de pura alegría contemplar las coloridas cometas y la ilusión que despertaban tanto en niños como en adultos —estos últimos, al fin y al cabo, no son más que niños mayores— durante el festival de cometas en Valencia. No obstante, en mi lectura trato de captar las múltiples capas de matices que dan forma a este evento.
